Towing vs. Shipping for AWD?

I’m moving my AWD SUV across state lines and keep seeing "towing" and "shipping" used interchangeably. Does a tow dolly really risk damaging the transfer case? I’d rather pay for an open carrier if it means zero mechanical wear.

When moving an AWD vehicle, the difference between towing and shipping is critical. You are right to be cautious; using a tow dolly can absolutely wreck the transfer case because the wheels on the ground spin while the others are stationary. For AWD, you generally need a flatbed or a professional transport service. Choosing https://comparethecarrier.com/blog/state-to-state-car-towing/ via an open carrier is much safer. It eliminates mechanical wear entirely since the car is fully off the road. It’s worth the peace of mind to avoid a massive repair bill later.

For AWD vehicles, shipping is generally the safer choice since towing can stress the drivetrain and transfer case if the car isn't on a dolly. Unless you're moving it yourself short distance, the extra cost for shipping is worth the peace of mind that your AWD system won't take unnecessary wear. 소액결제현금화
