Marrah Mountains
The Marrah Mountains, also known as the Marra Mountains or Jebel Marra, are a mountain range located in western Sudan, in the region of Darfur. They are one of the most prominent geographical features in Sudan, with a peak elevation of approximately 3,042 meters (10,000 feet) above sea level.
The Marrah Mountains are also home to several local tribes, including the Zaghawa and the Fur. The area around the mountains is rich in natural resources, including oil and minerals.
