You can beat this move though, if you read the momentum and punish the predictability. Learn the rhythm of the animation, use cover well, and turn the attacker’s path into a trap. Anticipation and pre-aim
When an enemy starts to slide, they commit to a motion and an ending spot. That makes the final position easier to guess. Pre-aim at the low part of the corner where the slider will finish. Aim near waist or chest level so when they finish the slide and pop up, your crosshair lands on the upper chest or neck. This reduces the travel your aim must make and gives you faster TTK. If you are on defense, try a timed drop shot or a wider crouch peek to break the slider’s vertical aim. These small changes force the attacker to re-aim while they are still locked into the slide.

Movement to break their camera

If the slider misses the first burst, immediately move behind cover and force them to guess where you are next. For longer fights, keep rotating cover so the attacker can’t predict your next position.
