POWERFUL DUA FOR HARD TIMES


This is a supplication that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would say during times of distress or hardship.

Laa ilaaha illal Laah al-'Aziim al-Haliim,
Laa ilaaha illaal Laah Rabb al-'Arsh al-'Aziim,
Laa ilaaha illal Laahu Rabb as-Samaawaati,
wa Rabb al-Ard,
wa Rabb al-'Arsh al-Kariim.

"There is no deity but Allâh, the Great, the Forbearing. There is no deity but Allâh, the Lord of the Great Throne. There is no deity but Allâh, the Lord of the heavens, the Lord of the earth, and the Lord of the Noble Throne."

"لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ، وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ، وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ".

This supplication is considered a means to alleviate distress and hardship by turning to Allâh in glorification and acknowledging His majesty and power.
