Saai
Deze post heeft veel feedback van gebruikers gekregen omdat hij eentonig en overdreven repetitief is.If you've just picked up one of the many GTA V Accounts out there, the character wheel can catch you off guard the first time you use it. Most players know the usual three directions already: Trevor to the right, Michael to the left, and Franklin up top. But there is a fourth slot hiding in plain sight. It only shows up after you've set up an online character, and once it is there, the wheel starts making a lot more sense.
How the extra slot appears
The so-called fourth character is not a secret story hero. It is your GTA Online character. That means you will not see the option until you have actually created one. After that, the blank silhouette on the wheel changes, and you can jump between the single-player campaign and online play from the same menu. It feels simple once it is unlocked, but plenty of players miss it because the game never really stops to explain it in detail.
Using the wheel the right way
Switching characters in GTA 5 is done by holding Down on the D-pad, then easing the right stick toward the character you want. That part is easy enough when you know where to look. The new online slot sits at the bottom, so pull the stick down if you want to head into GTA Online. It is a small thing, but it saves a lot of menu digging. If you are in a rush, that little shortcut makes bouncing between story mode and online feel much smoother.
What you cannot unlock in story mode
There is not a hidden fourth main-story protagonist waiting to be found. The campaign stays focused on Trevor, Michael, and Franklin. Still, GTA 5 gives you a different way to mess around with other faces. Director Mode opens up a huge list of characters and NPCs, as long as you have already unlocked them through normal progress. It is less about story and more about having fun, which is probably why so many players keep returning to it when they want a change of pace.
Director Mode and a handy escape route
To get into Director Mode, you can dial 1-999-5782-5368 on the in-game phone. From there, you can pick from a wide spread of characters and build a strange little session for yourself. It is one of those features people forget is there until they need something different from the usual grind. If you want to back out at any point, just go to the character wheel and press Down again. And if you mainly care about jumping straight into online play, some players even start with GTA V Accounts for sale that already have their setup ready, which makes the whole process feel less like a chore and more like loading straight into the part you actually want to play.
