I'm planning a backcountry trip next month and want to capture some amazing landscape shots without carrying heavy gear. I've been looking at mirrorless cameras but they're pretty pricey, and I'm wondering if a decent smartphone setup with a portable tripod would do the job instead. Has anyone here successfully shot professional-quality hiking photos on a budget? Would love to hear what equipment you've found works best without breaking the bank or your back!
