I'm trying to figure out what new hobby to pick up over the next few weeks while I have some downtime. I've been considering woodworking, digital art, or maybe learning an instrument, but I'm worried about the startup costs. Has anyone picked up a new skill during winter that actually stuck with them long-term, and if so, what made it work? I'd love to hear what kept you motivated when you were just starting out!
