Where does disappointment come from?
Disappointment comes when you put your happiness in someone else... when that person does what you don't want, that's why you will be disappointed and sad.
If you put happiness within you, you only rely on yourself, then whatever other people do against your will, doesn't affect your happiness at all... because you're not disappointed...??
