“Haunting Promises”

On Halloween night, the village was filled with joy and celebration. But in the heart of the festivities, there was a man named John, an admin at the popular site Pinetbook. He had promised his users golden tokens as a reward for the occasion, believing this would boost their enthusiasm and encourage them to work harder.

However, as Halloween approached, John faced a severe financial crisis, forcing him to make a difficult decision: to cancel the rewards. Little did he know, something dark was watching him from afar.

That night, while John sat at his desk, he felt something strange. The lights flickered, and the sound of strong winds filled the room. Suddenly, angry spirits appeared before him, manifesting as the souls of the users whose hopes had been dashed. Their features were distorted, and their eyes burned with rage. They began to whisper terrifying phrases, “You have betrayed us, and we will not forget!”

Fear crept into John’s heart as he tried to escape, but the doors were locked tight. The spirits moved closer, surrounding him on all sides, their chilling cries echoing through the air. At that moment, one of the spirits managed to whisper in his ear, “You will pay the price for your betrayal.”

Then the spirits vanished, but John could still feel their presence. Nightmares haunted him, showing him how his golden tokens had transformed into sinister shadows seeking revenge.

The next morning, John awoke to find himself encircled by those spirits, their presence as strong as ever. He realized he couldn’t escape; the souls had entered his body, plunging him into a whirlwind of terror.

Gradually, John lost control over himself. Every word he uttered echoed with the voices of the users he had betrayed. All his joyful thoughts about Halloween faded away, replaced by fear and regret.

In a moment of terrifying revenge, the former users gathered around him, hurling their golden tokens at him, which had transformed into dark bombs. They exploded around him, causing him to disperse into dancing shadows in the air, hearing their voices echo, “We will never forget!”

Thus, John became known as the admin who broke his promises, turning into a legend told every Halloween. It is said that John’s spirit roams the earth, searching for a way to fix what he did, but the vengeful spirits continue to haunt him forever.
