At Pitogo, we champion a free-market approach where service providers and users can freely agree on the value of their goods and services, just like in any healthy economy. We’re building for real-world use, and that means allowing organic price discovery through supply and demand—not through coercion or shouting matches.

We understand the enthusiasm behind the GCV idea, and we welcome aspirational visions. But when a value is imposed without market mechanisms, and vendors are shamed or attacked for not conforming, it goes against the decentralized and voluntary ethos Pi was built on.
