Because when there's billion users, the speed will be less than 0.1 Pi or even less than 0.01 per year. So user one year mining can get maybe 3000-30000 USD value.

If it is thousands of dollars, users one year get 10-100 USD value.

This is another reason Pi must be at least $314,159.

Because Pi has its mission as a world wide currency.
