Quoting a statement from Dr. Nicolas on Pi Chat, reiterating the project's Open Mainnet goal.

According to Dr. Nicolas, if the set conditions are met, Pi Network will officially launch its mainnet in 2024, while also urging Pioneers to continue striving to achieve this. As outlined in the V2 roadmap, key conditions to be met include the KYC process, moving Pi to the mainnet, expanding the ecosystem, and external economic and political impacts. It is evident that 2024 is a promising year for the development of the Pi Network, especially as the crypto market has witnessed significant growth.
Recently, the Pi Core Team has also reported on the KYC progress nearing the 10 million Pioneer milestone, and with new updates, the KYC speed will be greatly improved in the near future.

Meanwhile, according to data from Pi Door, nearly 30,000 Pi wallets have already been moved to the Mainnet, which is considered a quite optimistic speed.
Additionally, the Pi Commerce Hackathon competition has officially concluded, with outstanding projects selected, contributing to the effort to expand the Pi Network ecosystem.
