Perseverance, in a word, is the determination to move forward even if things do not seem favorable or even impossible, and yet you remain focused on your goal, maintaining your efforts until you achieve what you have set as your objective.
Over time, there have been numerous personalities who have shown pure perseverance and have only believed in their dreams, ignoring the discouragement of those around them. One of the thousands of examples is Winston Churchill, who, among others, repeated the 6th grade. Every time he ran, he lost, but at 62, he won and became Prime Minister. He later wrote about this fact: "Never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never - in anything, great or small, big or small - never give in except to the convictions of honor and common sense. Never, never, never, never give up."
Our dreams and goals should not have an expiration date ....let us embrace our failures as opportunities for evolution. Consistency complements perseverance and with small steps and patience we can build our way to success.
