Over 3.36 million additional Pioneers have fully passed KYC after a recently released system process made 4.76 million Tentative KYC’d Pioneers eligible for full KYC completion through conducting additional checks. Around 3 million more Tentative Pioneers can become eligible through this system process by completing their required liveness check. Fully KYC’d Pioneers should complete the Mainnet Checklist to migrate to Mainnet—over 2.69 million from this release have already done so and migrated. Tap “Read More” for more information!

Pi App Studio has been updated with improved AI-assisted customization, interfaces, and app discovery for creators. Try out Pi’s DeFi features—DEX and AMM functionalities—that were released last week in the Pi Wallet! Watch the new walkthrough video to learn more about the features and how to get started. This release expands Pi’s capabilities in a structured, utility-focused, and Web3-aligned way, helping Pioneers explore decentralized finance safely while strengthening the ecosystem through real testing, transparency, and community participation.

Decentralized exchange (DEX) and automated market maker (AMM) functionalities are available on the Testnet, allowing developers and Pioneers to experiment directly with token swaps, liquidity pools, and other decentralized finance tools. Developers can also now create test tokens on the Pi Testnet blockchain, while such functionality is restricted on Mainnet during the testing period. These releases in a testing environment allow developers to extend Pi Network’s capabilities in a utility-focused and Web3 way, and it onramps Pioneers safely and gradually. Pi Hackathon 2025 is officially halfway complete! Watch the new video showcasing the initial progress of select Hackathon projects, and stay tuned to see their continued progress in the remaining 3 weeks of the Hackathon. At the same time, Pioneers can now explore Hackathon apps directly in the Pi Browser and stake Pi on projects they support! This feature gives the community a direct way to discover, highlight, and support apps as the Hackathon enters its final phase.
