New features are released in Pi App Studio. Creators can now download and reupload their app code for further customization and flexibility. This functionality also makes the App Studio a useful prototyping tool for developers that simplifies Pi integration and deployment. Other new features include a new management interface and improved creator interfaces and experience. App creation in Pi App Studio is now more intuitive, organized, and powerful, helping Pioneers build and refine their own utilities for the Pi ecosystem.

Pi Network Ventures has made its first investment in OpenMind, a company developing an operating system and open-source protocol for robots to think, learn, and work together—like Android for robots. This investment aligns with the goals of Pi Network Ventures: capturing more production on Pi and creating more Pi utility. Additional collaboration with OpenMind includes the completion of a proof of concept project where Pi Node operators can opt in to run AI-training computations for third-party organizations. This explores a potential Pi platform-level utility on Pi Nodes. Overall, this investment connects blockchain, AI, and decentralized infrastructure to open new forms of utility, opportunity, and participation in Pi’s ecosystem. Over 3.36 million additional Pioneers have fully passed KYC after a recently released system process made 4.76 million Tentative KYC’d Pioneers eligible for full KYC completion through conducting additional checks. Around 3 million more Tentative Pioneers can become eligible through this system process by completing their required liveness check. Fully KYC’d Pioneers should complete the Mainnet Checklist to migrate to Mainnet—over 2.69 million from this release have already done so and migrated. Tap “Read More” for more information!
