Just got back from a month-long food tour through Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia, and I'm still thinking about those $2 street bowls of pho that tasted like they took hours to prepare. If you're considering a budget backpacking trip and food is your main concern, honestly you can eat like royalty for almost nothing in that region. Has anyone else found unexpectedly amazing cheap meals while traveling? I'm planning round two for next year and would love some recommendations from other travelers who've been there recently.
