Naomi Campbell's house, which she received for her 41st birthday a few years ago from her boyfriend, Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin, the house in the shape of the Egyptian eye of Horus, is built on a site known as Cleopatra Island in the Gulf of Gökova in Turkey.

Spanish architect Luis de Garrido, specializing in sustainable construction, designed the Horus Eco-House to be completely self-sufficient in energy, water and food. As with his other projects, he relied on careful bioclimatic design to address efficiency issues.
