The architecture of this house showcases highly skilled craftsmanship, with various carved ornaments adorning the structure, particularly statues such as the Sapundu, as well as the doors and pillars.

Characteristics of Traditional Dayak Houses
Artistic Carvings and Sculptures:
Carved and carved decorations are important elements of the Rumah Betang, showcasing distinctive Dayak motifs rich with meaning. The Sapundu statue carved in front of the house serves as a marker for traditional ceremonies and as a place to tie sacrificial animals.

The Dayak tribes who inhabit the Betang Traditional House are the Ngaju Dayak in Central Kalimantan, the Maanyan Dayak, and the Tamam Apalin Dayak in West Kalimantan, as well as the Dayak communities in other interior areas of Kalimantan who use the Betang House concept, such as the Desa Dayak and Kanayatn Dayak tribes.
